St. Andrew's Scholarship (Scotland)

PURPOSE
To promote cultural interchange and good will between Scotland and the United States.

AWARD
$20,000-$30,000 for tuition, fees, and transportation for a year of graduate study in Scotland.

PURPOSE

Mitchell Scholarship

PURPOSE
Established by the US-Ireland Alliance to provide tomorrow's leaders with an understanding about and an affinity with Ireland.

AWARD
Tuition, room and board, plus $11,000 stipend for one year of study (usually in a one-year Master's program) at an institution of higher learning in Ireland or Northern Ireland.

NUMBER OFFERED
Usually 12 per year

Marshall Scholarship

PURPOSE
Awarded by the British government in recognition of the aid given to the British by the United States under the Marshall Plan. Supports a one or two years degree program (typically MA with possible extension for PhD) at university in UK.

Keasbey Scholarship

To promote Anglo-American relations; to provide Americans with an opportunity to experience the British educational system.

Gates Cambridge Scholarship

To select candidates with exceptional academic achievement, scholarly promise, and leadership potential for scholarships to Cambridge University.

AWARD
All Cambridge tuition fees, maintenance allowance for study-related activities, and one round-trip economy airfare.
