MCSC Representation History
The initial MCSC election was held in the summer of 1988. Nine representatives were elected. The MCSC decided to draw straws in order to determine length of office for this initial group of representatives. 3 to serve for the rest of that year until the first regular election which was held in March of 1989 (1 year terms); 3 to serve until March of 1990 (2 year terms); and 3 until March of 1991 (3 year terms.) Results were as follows:

The name of this organization is the Middlebury College Staff Council (hereinafter referred to as MCSC).
