Middlebury College Theatre Presents “The Fairytale Lives of Russian Girls” April 2–4

Associate Professor of Theatre Alex Draper ’88 will direct a cast of seven Middlebury students in this dark comedy by Meg Miroshnik. The play mixes fantasy and reality in contemporary Moscow, carrying a powerful message for young women living in a world where not everything ends up happily ever after.

The Middlebury College Department of Theatre and Dance continues its fall season with William Shakespeare’s As You Like It, a play of impulsiveness, melancholy, and exile. Director Cheryl Faraone sets this new production in the early 20th century, a time when the world tipped over and all was irrevocably changed.
