The Panther softball team had a busy week with five games, four of them coming at the NESCAC Tournament hosted by Amherst. On Friday, Tufts first-year pitcher Allyson Fournier threw her third perfect game of the year and sophomore Jo Clair belted a walk-off home run to lead Tufts past Middlebury in eight innings on the first day of the 2012 NESCAC Softball Championship.

Middlebury played its final regular season game prior to the NESCAC Tournament, earning an 8-3 win at Skidmore on Thoroughbred Field. Skidmore ends their season at 13-24, while the Panthers improve to 20-13.
