Making Appointments with Writing Professionals

To meet with Writing Center professionals, you'll want to plan ahead when possible and schedule an appointment using our online scheduler at go.middlebury.edu/appt.

You are welcome to stop by the Center for Teaching, Learning and Research (CTLR) and we can help you setup an appointment, or you can use the link above. Please schedule appointments a few days in advance or even up to two weeks ahead to ensure that you can get the help you need on a particular paper.

About Us

The Writing Center offers a number of different services for students including drop-in peer tutoring at the CTLR, drop-in peer tutoring in the 5 Commons and the Anderson Freeman Center on Sunday evenings and embedded tutor support for FYS, CW, and WRPR classes. Additionally, we offer appointments with peer or professional writing tutors.

The Writing Center Director and CTLR drop-in site are located in the CTLR (Library 225). Email Genie Giaimo (ggiaimo@middlebury.edu) for more information.

Peer Tutoring and Mentoring

Peer Tutors, Peer Writing Tutors, and FYSE Mentors are Middlebury College students who assist Middlebury students in content areas, writing, oral presentation, time management, and study skills.
