Under the direction of Jeffrey Buettner, the Middlebury College Choir sings music of major styles and time periods of the choral canon, folk music, world music, American music and new compositions. College Choir performs choral-orchestral works with members of the College Orchestra, and student soloists are featured frequently. Recent repertoire includes "Triptych" by Tarik O'Regan, "Fest- und Gedenksprüche" by Johannes Brahms, "Winging Wildly" by Kirke Mechem, "The King Shall Rejoice" by G. F.

Women's Glee Club

Women's Glee Club sings a cappella and accompanied music of many genres including popular, world music, folk, classical and new music. Come join us! Glee rehearsals are Monday and Wednesday, 7:00-8:30 PM in Mead Chapel. Glee performs in music department choral concerts and for Middlebury area community outreach events each semester. Spring rehearsals begin Sunday, February 10!!

This spring, we explore delightful music by Antonio Vivaldi; American composer Emma Lou Diemer's settings of Shakespeare texts; selected works with rich choral sounds by award-winning American composer Morten Lauridsen; and an energetic arrangement of traditional texts entitled Sing a New Song.
