How did you get to Middlebury? A long story! Quick version summing up 24 years in Vermont: a left turn from a career in publishing in New York City to a non-profit foundation in Vermont, then an incredibly rewarding stint with Middlebury’s Center for Community Engagement and then on to the Center for Careers and Internships. I’ve now been at Middlebury for 17 years.

Who do you work with? What is your favorite part of the job? I have the privilege of working closely with the incredibly talented and committed CCI staff. My job also involves lots of cross-institution collaboration with a number of staff and faculty colleagues. The administrative nature of my work means that I work far less with students than I used to—but I have their best interests at heart in all I do (which is the favorite part of my job).

What is the best career advice anyone has given you? Be curious. Seize every opportunity. And always, always take the high road.”

What is your favorite campus resource? The Experiential Learning Centers!

Interests/Hobbies: Reading, walking, driving around beautiful Vermont, spending time with family and friends (and dog).
