Join us for a jam-packed day of opportunities to learn about Middlebury’s campus and culture. Take a look at the schedule below and curate your perfect Preview Day. Attend a couple of classes, send your family to different panels, hear from professors about their research, chat with current Midd students, then refuel with lunch on campus or in town and do it all again in the afternoon!

Join students as well as staff from our Center for Careers and Internships for a discussion of the many pathways Middlebury graduates pursue. (Located in Mahaney Arts Center)

2. Student Life: Living at Middlebury
From faculty advising to residential life to making connections with administrators and on-campus health and wellness services, learn all about the support systems in place to make living at Middlebury a special experience. (Located in Wilson Hall)

3. Academics and Research at Midd 
Hear from professors and students about what academic research and close working relationships look like at Middlebury. (Located in Dana Auditorium)

4. The Feb Experience: Taking a Gap Semester
For over 50 years, Middlebury’s unique February admission program has carved out space for students to take the road less traveled for a semester before starting their college careers. Discover the benefits of a gap semester … and of the distinctive Feb cohort of Middlebury first-year students. (Located in Axinn Center Abernethy Room)

At registration you’ll receive your tickets for lunch if you have elected to join us on campus. Each of our three dining halls (Atwater, Proctor, and Ross) can accommodate vegan, vegetarian, and nut-and-dairy-free options.

Each year more than half of the junior class at Middlebury College studies abroad in more than 40 countries at more than 90 different programs and universities. Current students will share stories from their immersive semester or year studying abroad, and staff will be able to answer any logistical questions. (Located in the Mahaney Arts Center)

Middlebury has over 50 majors and minors for students to explore as they engage with our liberal arts curriculum. You may know exactly what you want to major in, or maybe you’re completely undecided (and that’s okay!). Take this opportunity to speak with professors across departments about your academic interests, passions, and curiosities.

Middlebury College Museum of Art, 1st Floor Mahaney Arts Center, 10:30 AM–5:00 PM; stop by after your panels in this building for a Middlebury-branded free gift for admitted students!

Mittelman Observatory will offer guided tours at 11:30 AM, 12:00 PM, and 1:30 PM, each 25 minutes in duration. Students interested in the tour should go to Bicentennial Hall, take the elevator on the left to Floor 7, and see Angus Findlay. 

Schools Abroad, Language Schools, and Study Away at Monterey, Sunderland Language Center, 356 College Street. 

Take a break. Eat a snack. Drink a cup of coffee.

Axxin Center for the Humanities, this academic building hosts an array of comfortable seating and workspaces.

Crossroads Café in McCullough is Middlebury’s student-run café, offering coffee, smoothies, and locally prepared sandwiches and sushi. This is also an excellent place to take a seat and have a break. Open from 8:30 AM–9:00 PM.

Wilson Café in the Davis Library is a place you can take a break with a cup of coffee and light refreshments. Open 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.
