Is there a J-term experience that stands out as especially memorable, or perhaps a course offering or research opportunity that jumps out? My most memorable J-term was my first year. I had left my parents at the airport in London a little teary-eyed but walked into an amazing experience that I will never forget. I took a class called the Art of the Argument, which is cotaught by a law professor and an actress/speech coach/mentor which is amazing. I learnt invaluable skills as a first-year on how to talk in public. One of our first assignments was to recite a sonnet in front of the whole class on the first day, which was initially scary but also extremely interesting to see how far we could develop over the semester. I also became extremely close with my classmates and always felt at ease speaking in front of them.

Favorite Vermont spot: This is a tough question because there are so many! I love sitting by the solar panels (on the way to the organic farm) to watch the sunset.

One fun fact about you or unknown talent you have: I can play the saxophone.
