Why did you choose to attend Middlebury? I did not know what I wanted to study coming into college, and during my college search process Middlebury stood out in terms of the way its curriculum and extracurricular opportunities sought to nurture students’ academic and personal curiosities. I also craved the chance to form deeply personal relationships with professors and students, and Middlebury’s beautifully tucked-away location and intimate community has allowed me to do just that!

Favorite study spot? The balcony on the second floor of Davis Family Library when it’s warm enough.

Favorite food in the dining hall? Avocado Grilled Cheeses at Atwater, Sweet Potato Coconut Curry Soup, Atwater Peanut butter, and Spicy Black Bean Burgers.

Where did you study abroad, or where would you study abroad if you could? I studied abroad in Amsterdam last summer.

Favorite Vermont spot? The Middlebury College Snowbowl in the winter and Bristol Falls when it’s warm.

One fun fact about you or unknown talent you have: There was a point in my life where I was almost a (first degree, mind you) black belt in Karate.
