Why did you choose to attend Middlebury? I choose to attend Middlebury because of the dedication to the liberal arts education, the focus on internationalism, and the people. After being taught about the value of the liberal arts and actually experiencing it for myself, I truly believe it is one of the best ways to learn. Middlebury is also an institution that understands the value of learning a new language and studying abroad. As someone who wants to connect with people around the world, this is a huge draw for me. Additionally, the Middlebury community is full of kind, intelligent, and honest people across the student body, faculty, and staff. They have been the best part of being a student here these last four years.

Favorite food in the dining hall? Kielbasa

Where did you study abroad, or where would you study abroad if you could? I studied abroad in Montevideo, Uruguay. I was immersed in the culture and language through studying along with Uruguayan students and living in a homestay.

Favorite Vermont spot? The Knoll, Middlebury’s student-run organic farm.
