Why did you choose to attend Middlebury? Middlebury provided a sense of community from the moment I stepped on campus for my first tour and info session. The College draws warm, welcoming, and passionate people that made me feel like I belonged, just the way they continue to do so. Also, nothing can beat the beautiful setting of Middlebury, Vermont.

What did you do with your Febmester? I took language and culture classes in southern Spain while living with a host family for three months. Then I worked in a restaurant back home and coached a youth indoor track team.

Is there a J-term experience that stands out as especially memorable, or perhaps a course offering or research opportunity that jumps out? I took a writing-intensive class about professional sports and identity with Hector Vila and loved it. J-term is a time where you can collaborate with students and professors outside of your grade, major, and areas of study. It’s also pretty cool to be able to ski in the morning before class.

Favorite Vermont spot? Either the top of Bicentennial Hall or the waterfront in Burlington.

One fun fact about you or unknown talent you have: I’ve run six half marathons!
