    Charlotte Jones’ Airswimming follows the story of Dora Kitson and Persephone Baker, two unlikely friends who are confined to life in St. Dymphna’s Hospital for the Criminally Insane beginning in the 1920s. Watch the evolution of their relationship - one of friendship, familial love, and romantic tension - as they cope with the pressure of 50 years of isolation by forming alter egos: bibliophile Dorph and Doris-Day-loving Porph.

  • Ivy Native Council Conference @ Dartmouth!

    Voices of Indigenous Peoples is attending the annual conference for Indigenous students at Ivy and NESCAC schools, hosted by Dartmouth on. This year’s topic is language revitalization and its relationship to higher education, and it is open to all Indigenous-identifying students of any cultural background.     Join Midd Cycling for a gravel race in Jay, VT. Rasputitsa is one of the most renowned gravel races in the state, and even the U.S. The course will be muddy and maybe even snowy!

  • AIKIDO

    Classes led by Professor Jonathan Miller-Lane and Middlebury graduate Corey Selover. PE credit available. Aikido is a 20th century Japanese martial art founded by Morihei Ueshiba, O’Sensei, (1883-1969). In these sessions, we will focus on the potential of Aikido techniques and principles to transform conflict from a binary confrontation among individuals to an interaction of powerful and dynamic energy. No prior experience is necessary. Participants should wear comfortable clothing that includes leg coverings (such as sweats) rather than shorts. All bodies are welcome.
