Biology Class of '88 Lectures: Dr. Holger Russ, Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes of Medicine

Dr. Russ is with the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes, and University of Colorado- Anschutz Medical Campus. This talk is for a science audience: “Generation of functional pancreatic beta cells from human pluripotent stem cells,” in which Dr. Russ will present his personal research journey to develop an abundant insulin producing beta cell source for cell replacement therapy for patients suffering from type 1 diabetes.
