Margaret MacMillan, one of the most well-known historians of our time, will deliver the next Charles S. Grant Memorial Lecture. Professor MacMillan teaches at the University of Toronto, and she is the emeritus Professor of International History and former Warden of St. Anthony’s College at the University of Oxford.   Her books include Paris 1919: Six Months that Changed the World (which won the Samuel Johnson prize), The Uses and Abuses of History, History’s People: Personalities and the Past, and the prize-winning The War that Ended Peace: The Road to 1914.   Her topic will be “The Long Shadow of the Great War and the Paris Peace Conference.”
