Virtual Middlebury

Dr. Seaman is a parasitic disease expert (and a Middlebury alum!) who works in South Sudan and in Indigenous communities in rural Alaska. By adapting the tools of 21st-century medicine to address the needs of those in abject poverty, Seaman serves as a pioneering authority on how to provide life-saving medical care in all but impossible conditions. Woman in Health Sciences will be holding a virtual lecture and Q&A panel to discuss her work. If you register for the event using the google forms link provided you can submit questions and sign up for pre-lecture snacks to be delivered to your dorm!
