Dr. Eunjung Kim is a leading scholar in global critical disabilities studies. Professor Susan Burch’s AMST 307 “Issues in Critical Disability Studies: US & World” course is using multiple works by Dr. Kim this term. Dr. Kim will co-facilitate two classes with Prof. Burch and meet with students during virtual office hours for 90 minutes outside of the class visits. Dr. Kim’s work on disability, sexuality, activism, and eugenics in Korea has earned her considerable recognition in Asian studies, gender studies, and disability studies. Attendance is limited.
