From High Pond with Doc Woodin to Policy Advocacy for The Nature Conservancy in the Time of COVID: A Conversation with Phil Huffman, Class of ’84 ES Major.
Phil Huffman ‘84, Director of Government Relations and Policy, The Nature Conservancy in Vermont.
Join us for a wide-ranging interactive virtual dialogue about everything from translating an ES degree into a long career in real-world conservation work, to The Nature Conservancy’s evolution into policy advocacy (we’re not just a land trust anymore!), to major current advances in conservation and climate change policy in Vermont and nationally in the midst of the COVID pandemic (believe it or not, some good things are happening!). Moderated by ES visiting scholar Nadine Canter Barnicle, a long-time friend and colleague of our guest.
