Muslims @ Midd: Ask a Muslim About Islam
Muslims at Midd is a social change project that is geared towards representing the various faces, cultures, and traditions of Muslims at Middlebury. The goal is to highlight the variety of Muslim experiences on campus, practices and more generally to represent the diversity and richness of the 1. 8 billion Muslims rather than the stereotypical image portrayed in the media. There will be 8 student speakers: Kamli Faour, Rahat Huda, Hadjara Gado, Hawa Adam, Soyibou Sylla, Youssef EL Berrichi, Tanzim Ahmed and Sammy Abdulrahim. This event is designed for the entire Middlebury College campus and everyone is welcomed! This will be a low stake, fun, and interactive atmosphere where students can learn (more) about Islam from their peers.
