Open to the Public
Take a journey through the rhythms of Brazilian popular music. This concert will feature a rich variety of Brazilian music, including choro, samba, bossa nova, baião, and MPB, with musicians Richard Miller (guitar), Vanderlei Pereira (percussion), Gigi MacLaugjlin (vocals), and Isabella Perazzo Campos (piano). This year, we are thrilled to welcome back Stacey Kent, the Grammy nominated, Platinum-selling American jazz singer and recording artist and her husband Jim Tomlinson a British tenor saxophonist, clarinetist, flautist, producer, arranger and composer. You will witness an authentic Brazilian concert, where the audience also sings the lyrics and dances samba and forró with the abandon of a Carnival party.
