Transgender Week of Awareness: The Politics of Public Restrooms

As part of Transgender Week of Awareness, there will be a “Politics of Public Restrooms” workshop on Monday, February 18 from 5:00-6:30 pm. This workshop will provide an overview of the rhetoric and legislation used to prohibit transgender individuals from accessing public restrooms that align with their gender identity. The workshop will also provide a space for a campus community conversation about the Transgender Week of Awareness Bathroom Project and what equity and inclusion for the transgender community would look like at Middlebury.
