The Korean program equips students with the latest skill sets for professional careers in translation, interpretation, and localization management.

The well-balanced curriculum combines both pedagogical and professional training. Students explore various materials that gradually increase in length and complexity on topics such as politics and diplomacy, economy and finance, technology, science, medicine, and the environment. The faculty, all with extensive professional experience, foster strong mentoring relationships and provide guidance on academic performance and career choice.

During summer and winter breaks, students take advantage of available internships at organizations including Stanford Hospitals and Clinics, the U.S. Department of State, and the World Intellectual Property Organization.

Our graduates are sought after around the world, and job placement in our program is near 100 percent at high-profile government agencies, companies and international organizations, both in the U.S. and Korea, such as the U.S. Department of State, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Department of Defense, the World Intellectual Property Organization, Samsung, LG, Apple, and Facebook.
