For Instructors: Bloomberg for Education Dashboard

Interested instructors may email Solomon Blaylock (sblaylock@middlebury.edu) in order to gain access to the Bloomberg for Education Dashboard. This allows one to create class codes for students to use in order to take the Bloomberg Market Concepts program such that the instructor is able to monitor individual progress and completion. The dashboard also provides access to CFAPRO, a reference guide that maps the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge to specific Bloomberg Terminal functions.

For over 100 current examples of university course syllabi into which Bloomberg Terminal tasks have been integrated, please see https://data.bloomberglp.com/professional/sites/10/Bloomberg-for-Education_links_9.12.pdf.

Installing Excel Bloomberg Add-Ins

To install add-ins that facilitate work between Bloomberg and Excel, log onto the Terminal, select Start > All Programs > Bloomberg > Install Office Add-Ins.

The next time you open Excel, you should see a Bloomberg tab in the top menu of any file you open. For information on what the Bloomberg add-in allows you to do, see the Bloomberg Excel Add-In Desktop Guide.
