Lea Marchl

Lea Marchl is a Digital Extremism Analyst for the Center on Terrorism, Extremism, and Counterterrorism. Lea previously interned for the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START) at the University of Maryland and the Polarization and Extremism Research Innovation Lab (PERIL) at American University. Research interests include militant accelerationism, ecofascism, Traditional Catholic aesthetics in the French far-right, and responsible content moderation practices. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service.
