Join us on April 24, 2021 for the 33rd Annual International Bazaar! A long-standing Institute tradition, the Bazaar brings together students, faculty, staff and alumni for a fun-filled day of food, a photo contest and entertainment. This year’s Bazaar will be held virtually, with a variety of events to carry on the spirit of the event while adhering to COVID safety restrictions.

This year’s activities will include:

  • Open Mic - What form of expression speaks to your soul? A song, poem, or a dance? Whichever way you like to express and share your art, you can do so by signing up for our upcoming Open Mic Night! It will be a night filled with entertainment while connecting with fellow MIIS students, faculty, and community members.
  • Cooking Lessons (Saturday, April 24th 12:00-1:30pm PST) - Are you interested in international cuisine? Join us to learn how to prepare appetizers, entrees, or desserts from different parts of the world! Everyone is welcome!
  • Photo Contest - The MIIS Photo Contest is open to all Institute students, faculty, staff and alumni. The categories for this year’s contest are as follows: Home (What it means to you), Nature, Quintessentially COVID, and Nature. Each contestant can submit one photo per category. Winners will be awarded a prize and have their photos displayed on campus!
  • Asynchronous Material - This year’s Bazaar will be accompanied by films for the MIIS community to enjoy at their convenience.

This page with links to forms will be updated as planning for this year’s virtual installment progresses. We are looking for clubs and individuals to perform at the open mic, lead cooking lessons, and facilitate discussions on asynchronous material.
