Dear Middlebury Language Schools Community,
As Middlebury and the entire country take measures to deal with the coronavirus epidemic, we are aware that our students, prospective students, and wider community have questions about Language Schools programs for summer 2020. As an educational institution, our twin goals are to provide the language education experience for which we are known and to do so in a safe, supportive environment. To accomplish this mission, we are closely monitoring the rapidly evolving public health emergency, and we will be sending regular updates as the situation changes.
The Middlebury Language Schools currently have no plans to cancel our programs for summer 2020.
We continue to accept applications, enroll students, and award financial aid. We hope that the strong measures being taken now, both locally and nationally, to control the spread of COVID-19 will create an environment that will allow us to operate all twelve Schools in Middlebury and Bennington during the coming summer.
We will be sending additional information soon, and we encourage you to check our website for regular updates. For those of you who have already enrolled, we would ask you to refrain from making travel plans at this point, but we will make every effort to let you know in a timely manner when you can do so. We also want to assure you that, should we be forced to cancel the program, any enrollment deposits and tuition fees paid will be fully refunded.
Please be assured that we are doing everything we can to prepare for the best possible experience in a safe environment. Planning is proceeding and our faculty and staff are excited to spend the summer with you in Vermont.
If you have further questions, please contact 802-443-5510.
