Letter to the Bread Loaf Environmental Writers’ Conference Community

Dear Bread Loaf Environmental Writers’ Conference Community,

We hope this finds you and your loved ones healthy and safe. As Middlebury and the entire country take measures to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic, we are aware that our participants, prospective participants, and wider community have questions about the Bread Loaf Environmental Writers’ Conference for summer 2020. We are in consultation with Middlebury’s Crisis Management Team to determine next steps and anticipate being in touch with you again with more news in mid-April. For those who have been notified of acceptance, we would ask you to refrain from making travel plans at this point. We also want to assure you that should we be forced to cancel the conference, any deposits and tuition fees paid will be fully refunded. We will send more information soon by email, and we will also post updates to the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conferences homepage.
