Preview of Fall ’20 Course Offerings
| by Suzanne Gurland and Derek Doucet
Dear Students,
We know that many of you are eager to learn more about this fall’s course offerings, and so we have prepared a preliminary list of course names and sections organized by department and program. The list does not yet include specific course times, but it does provide the anticipated teaching modalities–such as in-person or hyflex–where available. We also invite you to review a list of modality descriptions which should help you understand the course list. We will explain more at an online academic forum in a couple of weeks. For now, please make use of these tips as you browse the list:
- Modalities that are available to all students, whether on-campus or remote, include “flexible online,” “scheduled online,” and “hyflex.”
- Modalities that require some physical presence on campus include “blended” and “in-person.”
- Remember, for many courses, you’ll want to find a lecture and a matching lab, drill or discussion that meets your needs.
Please note that the information contained in this list is preliminary and could change. Stay tuned for more detailed information in the next couple of weeks. Meanwhile, we hope you’re staying well and finding safe ways to enjoy the summer.
Sincerely,
Suzanne Gurland
