Before HCM goes live, there are some important steps each of us must take to ensure that our personal and institutional data is protected from cyber-attacks.

Every employee, including student employees, will be required to enroll in multi-factor authentication (also known as MFA), which helps the system confirm that you are who you say you are when you log in. You will need to DO THIS TWICE—once for Middlebury and separately for the Green Mountain Higher Education Consortium, which manages our Oracle accounts.

To get started, see “Enrolling in GMHEC Multi-Factor Authentication” for instructions. Middlebury’s ITS department recommends that you configure the Microsoft Authenticator App on your cell phone, as well as adding your cell phone number and office phones for authentication.
