Laboratory Decommissioning

The Sciences Environmental Health and Safety Working Group (link) has developed a guide for laboratory and shared space preparation for when faculty depart or retire to aid in the proper and complete clean out of these spaces. It’s primarily designed as a resource guide for who to contact and who can help with the various aspects of cleaning out a lab and associated shared spaces. The STSS department is a great resource and this document should be the first stop in planning and executing your departure.
