Religious Observance and Services for Summer 2019
For those who are interested in religious observance, we maintain a comprehensive list of congregations within various faith traditions.
- Christian worship is available at various congregations in the Middlebury area. We suggest you call ahead to check on summer worship schedules.
- Islamic jumma prayer services can be arranged on campus if there is enough interest. For other options, please see the The Islamic Society of Vermont, located in Burlington.
- Friday evening student-led Shabbat services are held in the Jewish Center in the Freeman International Center starting June 28. This first service begins at 8 pm. If interested, please contact Ayelet Hakim, Bilingual at the School of Hebrew, at email@example.com. Service times are determined by participants’ schedules for the remainder of the summer.
The staff at the Scott Center for Spiritual and Religious Life is available for spiritual and pastoral care throughout the summer.
Confidential resources such as pastoral care and religious observances are exempt from the language pledge. Please call ahead or email for an appointment. Contact Ellen McKay, Scott Center Program Coordinator at (802) 443-5626 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
