Student Advisory Council

Mission Statement:

The Economics Student Advisory Council (ECON-SAC), a group composed of Juniors and Seniors in the program, works in consultation with the faculty and staff in the department to provide feedback about the curriculum and provide resources for majors, minors, and prospective students in the department. When the Economics department is recruiting faculty, the SAC meets with candidates and makes an informal recommendation to the department.

The primary functions of the Biology SAC are to: 

Departmental Student Advisory Councils

a. Each academic department and program that offers a major will establish a Student Advisory Council (SAC). The department will make every effort to seek advice from the council on matters of new faculty appointments and curricular changes. The council may also initiate recommendations to the department.
