End of Semester Tutoring

Tutoring officially ends Monday, 12/9, with some programs and classes offering tutoring during exam week. See below for details and visit go/appt to see the schedule.
 

ACE Tutors

Learning Resources’ ACEs (Academic Consultants for Excellence) will be available to help with time management and study skills through the end of classes on Monday, 12/9, with limited availability finals week. You can book an appointment or come to a drop-in for an ACE or professional consult. go/learningresources

Finals week drop-in sessions for Learning Resources will be Monday, 12/9 - Wednesday, 12/11 from 11 am-4 pm in the CTLR (Lib 225). If you are having trouble focusing or need a plan, stop by anytime. You can do some work, take a break, get a pep talk, make a stress ball, reset with a cold bag, and grab a snack. go/drop-in

Language Tutors

Will be available to meet through Monday, Dec. 9. Work with a tutor on speaking, writing, and study skills for international language courses. go/languagetutors

STEM and Quantitative

STEM and quantitative peer tutors will be available for regularly scheduled drop-in sessions through Sunday, 12/8. A small number of classes will have exam week drop-ins with additional classes having individual tutoring appointments available. go/sq

Writing Tutors 

Peer and professional writing tutoring will be available through Monday, 12/9. There will also be some availabilty through exam week. Course-based writing tutor availability varies so please check with your course tutor. Writing Center tutors can help you start a project, outline, develop content, draft and revise. It is not necessary to have writing completed to work with a tutor—you can use the appointment to generate new work! go/write

Extra writing drop-in sessions for final papers will be held in the CTLR (LIB 225) the final week of classes. That means drop-in writing support will be available Sunday, 12/1 through Friday, 12/6. The final drop-in session will be on Sunday 12/8. See writing drop-in sessions at go/drop-in.

Plan Ahead for the End of the Semester

Support is available if you plan ahead. Most appointments must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance and can be booked up to two weeks prior. Make a time investment to schedule your assignments, plan what you will do, and connect to resources such as the CTLR to finish up the semester strong.
