Middlebury Crew is a competitive intercollegiate club team. We race two seasons, fall and spring, against some of the best competition in New England. Founded in 1988 by two members of the class of '91 who sold a motorcycle and a computer to fund the purchase of the team's first oars and shells, the team has grown to comprise over 50 athletes each season.

The team trains 6 day per week on Lake Dunmore, a gorgeous, sheltered, 3-mile long lake 10 minutes south of the Middlebury campus. The lake provides one of the most spectactular rowing venues anywhere in the world.

We train and race with a trust in our teammates, a respect for the beauty and challenge of sport, and a love for making boats go fast.
