Men's Swimming & Diving Finishes Seventh At NESCAC's

The Middlebury men's swimming and diving team held on to seventh place throughout the NESCAC Men's Swimming & Diving Championships hosted by Williams College. The Ephs won the event with 2,011 points, followed by Amherst with 1,959, while the Panthers earned 646.5 points.
Nick Daly was the top performer with a time of 20.96 in the 50 free, good for fourth place. He also finished fifth in the 50 fly in 23.13. Skylar Dallmeyer-Drennen earned a seventh place finish in one-meter diving, ending with 336.60 points. Placing seventh was the 200 free relay team of Daly, Adam Schaffer, Mike Oster and James Wing, who ended with a time of 1:24.83.
On day two, Kazu Asaga was the top performer with an eighth place finish in the 100 back with a time of 52.56. The 200 medley relay team finished in seventh place (1:35.26) overall, with Asaga, Chris Vandiford, Daly and Wing leading the way.
Dallmeyer-Drennen again earned a top eight finish on day three, placing seventh in three-meter diving with 341.25 points. The Panther 400 free relay team comprised of Daly, Nick Keenan, Ethan Litman and Wing also placed seventh, earning a time of 3:08.69.
