CTO and SLR Maximums

  • If you are scheduled to work a 7.75 hour day, the maximum accrual allowed is 279 hours.
  • If you are scheduled to work an 8 hour day, the maximum accrual allowed is 288 hours.

If you are near or at the maximum accrual allowed and you have not used time in this pay period, you must transfer some time to SLR as part of the time entry process to bring your accruals down. Banner will not allow your accrual to equal more then the maximum allowed, therefore you will stop accruing CTO.

** Fiscal Year Rollover** CTO balances must be 24 days or less (186 hours if regularly scheduled for 7.75 hour day / 192 hours if regularly scheduled for an 8 hour day) by the end of the last full pay period in June, prior to the start of the next Fiscal Year. This is the only time of year the excess CTO will automatically be transferred into SLR.

The maximum at all other times of the fiscal year is 36 days.

Combined Time Off

Benefits-eligible employees accrue combined time off each pay period.  This time may be used flexibly - for vacation, medical appointments, family illness, personal time, and floating holidays.  CTO section of the Employee Handbook

Holidays

The College provides holiday pay during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday periods, as defined in our employee handbook.  Additional holidays are defined as floating holidays.  Employees may recognize other holidays using CTO time.  Floating and Regular Holidays.

Other types of Time Away
