Jeffrey Shoulson to Deliver Lecture at Folger Institute

Jeffrey Shoulson, Bread Loaf/Vermont faculty member and Doris and Simon Konover Chair of Judaic Studies, Director of the Center for Judaic Studies and Contemporary Jewish Life, Professor of Literatures, Cultures, and Languages, and Professor of English at the University of Connecticut, presented "The Jewish Idea of Biblical Poetry in Translation" this December at the Annual Convention of the Association of Jewish Studies.

He will also deliver the lecture "Hugh Broughton, the King James Bible, and the Challenge of Hebraic Scholarship" at the Folger Institute in March and the William B. Hunter Plenary Lecture at the "Exploring the Renaissance: An International Conference," in Tuscon, Arizona in April.
