Michael Brokos earned an MFA in 2012 from Boston University, where he received the Hurley Award, given to one poetry student per graduating class. He attended the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference as a work-study scholar, also in 2012. Recent poems appear in such journals as Hobart, Salamander, and Sixfold. He lives in Baltimore, Maryland, where he works as a writer and editor.
