Student rooms do not have their own telephones. Call the Bread Loaf switchboard (the Inn Front Desk) at 802.443.2700 between 8 a.m.-11 p.m. to be connected to dorm telephones, or to leave a message. After 11 p.m., emergency messages can be left with the Middlebury College Security Office at 802.443.5911.

VERMONT EMERGENCY NUMBERS

A sheet with emergency instructions and numbers can be found near all campus telephones. For medical, fire, or other catastrophic emergencies, first call 911. Then contact the Front Desk at ext. 2700 (or 802.443.2700). After hours, all calls to the Front Desk will be routed to the Department of Public Safety on the main Middlebury campus.

Meal Times

Breakfast (Monday–Thursday)        7:15-8 a.m.
Breakfast (Friday-Sunday)              8:00-9  a.m.

Dinner (every day)                         6-6:45 p.m.

Weekday meals (Sunday dinner through Thursday dinner) are served by student waiters. On weekends (Friday breakfast through Sunday lunch), meals are served cafeteria style. 

Library Hours:

The Davison Memorial Library, Bread Loaf Campus, is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Summer 2014 Commencement
Commencement at Bread Loaf's Vermont campus will be held on Saturday, August 9. Contact the Bread Loaf office for more information.
 
Class of 2014 Senior Gift
This year's senior class has voted to contribute to the Alexander Twilight 1823 Scholarship. Established in 2008, this scholarship memorializes Alexander Twilight, the first African American graduate of an American college (Middlebury College, 1823). The Twilight Scholarship recognizes Bread Loaf students who have shown a special commitment to the value of diversity in education, and have worked to improve diversity among the student body at Bread Loaf.
