Travis Apgar, associate dean of students at Cornell University, will give a lecture titled “Hazing: the Fallout,” much of which is drawn from his own experience as a college football player who experienced hazing.

Gordie Foundation was started by the family of a young man who died of alcohol poisoning as a result of hazing at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Middlebury has been selected as an official partner by the Gordie Foundation for this year’s celebration of National Gordie Day, which is Oct 22.
