Event Showcases Faculty Achievements

March 6, 2015

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. — For a few hours last week the Tormondsen Great Hall in Bicentennial Hall was transformed into a gallery showcasing the intellectual wealth of Middlebury faculty and staff members. At the annual Articles and Creative Works Reception, guests browsed through 121 works by 58 faculty and staff members in 28 academic departments and programs.

“This is a festive way to recognize the many scholarly and creative accomplishments of our community,” noted Dean for Faculty Development and Research Jim Ralph, whose office sponsored the event. The exhibition featured significant articles or creative work in peer-reviewed journals and essays in collected volumes that are peer-reviewed. Some off-campus artistic music and theatre performances were also featured.
