A celebration at Middlebury

College of Bulgaria’s National Day will include a brief presentation

on Bulgarian history and religious beliefs by first-year students Neli

Georgieva and Mitko Apostolov, a reading of modern Bulgarian poetry by

senior Mitko Kenarov, an informal discussion with Bulgarian Middlebury

College students, Bulgarian music, and traditional Bulgarian food and

beverages.

The event is sponsored by

several Middlebury College organizations: the Russian and Eastern European

Society, the Christian Orthodox Association, and Atwater Commons.
