Strategic Plan Working Groups Submit Reports
The following message was sent to the campus community on March 11.
Dear colleagues,
We hope this email finds you well and enjoying this preview of spring.
We wanted to let you know that the completed working group reports are now available for you to view. We have housed the reports on a dedicated Strategic Planning Canvas Course open to faculty, staff, and students. You can find the link to enroll below. We also understand that not all members of our community use Canvas, so we have provided a link to a Google drive to ensure document accessibility. We would encourage you to use the Canvas platform as it contains an all-campus discussion forum.
A remarkable amount of work went into these reports, and we cannot thank the working group members enough for the care and energy they have devoted over the past few months. We also wanted to more broadly thank each of you for being such active contributors in this process.
We received all the working group reports on March 1 and moved quickly to begin synthesizing them for the community. The result is a very raw document intended simply as a conversation starter. You can find it in Canvas (Join the Conversation section) or in the Google Drive folder under the title “Conversation Starter.”
This document represents an initial attempt by the three of us to synthesize the strategic priorities and tactics emerging from the twelve working groups. It is not a draft of the strategic plan, but rather a starting point for discussion.
We share these documents in the spirit of transparency and conversation. It is meant to help frame discussion and gather feedback as the Steering Committee continues the work of synthesis and refinement in the weeks ahead. We look forward to hearing your thoughts and continuing the conversation. Please feel free to reach out with any comments, feedback, or questions.
