Clare E. Ulrich, a member of the 2014.5 “Feb” class, was an economics major at Middlebury.
Faculty in the economics, sociology/anthropology, history of art and architecture, and Spanish and Portuguese departments were promoted to the rank of associate professor.
The Board also honored the service of Marna C. Whittington, who has served on the Board for 17 years, the last four as chair.
In Monterey, California, graduate students from 31 countries earned their degrees on May 21.
Separate sessions for students and parents will tailor information to each audience.
