As a culminating project in her microbiology course, Associate Professor of Biology Erin Eggleston asked students to use their creativity to communicate what they’d learned about microbes and social science. The result was a “gallery walk” of displays—games, crafts, posters—aimed at engaging a general audience in understanding the surprising ways microbes impact our daily lives and social structures. Photographer and multimedia producer Brett Simison collected these sounds and images from the exhibition at McCardell Bicentennial Hall.
