MIDDLEBURY, Vt. — President Ron Liebowitz will give an interview in Washington, D.C. reflecting on his time as Middlebury’s 16th president on Monday, March 30, at 6:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. Frank Sesno, a member of Middlebury’s class of 1977 and former correspondent, anchor, and Washington bureau chief for CNN, will interview Liebowitz at the Middlebury in D.C. offices. Sesno is director of the School of Media and Public Affairs at George Washington University.

Liebowitz, who has announced he will step down on June 30, joined the Middlebury faculty in 1984 and was promoted to associate professor in 1988 and full professor in 1993. He was appointed provost in 1997 and began his presidency on July 1, 2004. In 2009 Time Magazine named Liebowitz one of the 10 best college presidents in the country.
