    Biology and neuroscience professor Glen Ernstrom uses a green glowing protein and tiny worms to study how animal nerve cells transmit chemical signals at synapses. This summer, his student researchers, Jessica Guo ’21 and Edith Lopez ’22, learned new techniques and acquired greater depth as they assisted him in unlocking the secrets of the human brain.
