Exhibition Underwriting

The Museum produces 6-8 temporary exhibitions each year in addition to its display of works from the permanent collection. Exhibitions are carefully chosen to support both the curriculum of the College and the needs of the Museum’s education programs, and the cost of bringing such quality exhibits to Middlebury can be considerable. A gift in support of an exhibition at the Museum is a direct investment in the artistic enrichment of the College and the education of the students who make use of the Museum’s offerings.

If you are interested in underwriting a specific exhibition or in establishing ongoing support of the Museum’s exhibit programs please contact the Gift Administration Office at (802) 443-5922 or visit the College’s Give to Middlebury web page.

Student Internship Underwriting

The Museum currently offers six paid academic-year internships and three full-time paid summer internships. These positions are highly coveted by students who are interested in museum work and careers in the arts, and the experience they gain while working for the Museum prepares them to succeed in their chosen field after graduation. A gift in support of an internship at the Museum provides a greater opportunity for interested students to gain valuable working experience and helps the Museum to provide high quality programming for its audiences.

If you are interested in underwriting an internship at the Museum please contact the Gift Administration Office at (802) 443-5922 or visit the College’s Give to Middlebury web page.
