FFW 2015: Snow Bowl Family Bash

To Benefit the Middlebury College Volunteer Ski Patrol and Elementary School Ski Helmet Initiative

Take a chairlift ride to the top of Worth Mountain and enjoy a breathtaking view! You’ll see Vermont dressed in fall splendor as the panoramic scene stretches from the Green Mountains to the Adirondacks across Lake Champlain.

Purchase of a ticket (adults $5; students and children 12 and under $2) includes a ride on the Worth Mountain chairlift, live music by student bands, mingling, and more. There will be a barbecue in full swing all afternoon, with food and drinks available for purchase. Proceeds will go to the Middlebury College Ski Patrol as well as the Elementary School Ski Helmet Initiative.

All are welcome to drive up on their own (just 20 minutes from campus), but free Addison Country Transit (ACTR) shuttle bases will also be running between Adirondack Circle and the Snow Bowl (to the Bowl: 11:40 a.m., 12:55 p.m., 2:10 p.m.; back to the College: 1:30 p.m., 2:45 p.m., 4:00 p.m.). The bus will stop at the Bread Loaf Inn for those wishing to depart or return from the Bread Loaf campus. The Ski Patrol would love to see you there!
