Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Most students should apply to only one program. If students apply to one site in one country and later change their mind, they may contact our office to modify their location. However, if they are applying to one location for the fall and another for the spring, they should complete two applications.

The application fee is $75.

Middlebury College offers need-based financial assistance to Middlebury College undergraduates only. 

Students from colleges and universities other than Middlebury may apply for a $3,000 Cason Scholarship

Application Deadlines

Final deadlines for complete applications are as follows:

March 1 for semester in Oxford

March 15 for all other semester programs

September 15 for programs in France, Italy, Japan, Spain, and Oxford

We will consider late applications if space is available, provided that visa deadlines (where applicable) can be met. Once the deadline has passed, students will not be able to access the application without first calling our office at (802) 443-5745.
